Rental Costs
Bike Rental Budget for a Goa Holiday: What to Include
A rental is more than a daily rate. A good budget lists each cost separately, so you know what you’ll spend and what you’ll get back. Use this list to build yours. For a whole-trip budget, see how to plan a Goa trip budget.
1. Rental Days
Count the days you’ll actually ride, not the days you’re in Goa. Get the total for your dates from the listing. Our scooty rentals in Goa page starts from ₹349, and your rate may differ.
2. Fuel
Fuel = (distance ÷ km per litre) × petrol price per litre, plus a small buffer for detours. Check the fuel policy, because it determines who pays and what level you return the vehicle at.
3. Refundable Deposit
List it separately as temporary cash. Ask how much, how it’s collected, when it’s returned and what can be deducted.
4. Delivery or Booking Charges
Rentonow delivers across Goa. Check whether delivery is included or charged for your booking, and note any booking fees.
5. Extra-Kilometre Charges
If the rental has a distance cap, budget for the possibility of exceeding it, or plan your routes to stay within it.
6. Late Return and Extension Charges
Check how lateness is charged, and plan a buffer before flights or trains.
7. Parking and Ferries
Small but real. Budget a modest amount.
8. Gear
A rain jacket in the monsoon, a phone holder or a better-fitting helmet if you want one.
9. Taxis and Alternatives
Even with a rental, you’ll probably take a taxi on some nights or in heavy rain. Add a line for it.
10. Other Charges in the Provider’s Terms
Read the Terms & Conditions for anything not listed above, such as damage terms or cancellation charges (see the Refund Policy).
